Chelsey and Matthew Tines

GRANT -- Chelsey Scrivner and Matthew Tines were united in marriage Sept. 25, 2004, at the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Grant with the Rev. Bill Grant officiating.

Parents of the couple are Lynn Scrivner of Lebanon, Susan Jones of Grant and William "Dude" and Alice Tines of Venango.

Grandmothers of the bridegroom are Dorothy Tines of Cambridge and Mary Walz of Indianola.

The matron of honor was Melissa Regier of Lincoln. Bridesmaids were Sage Dickenson of St. Louis, Mo., Sondra Scrivner of Grant, both sisters of the bride, and Jennifer Tines of Lincoln, sister of the bridegroom.

The bride's personal attendants were Chantel Regier of Lincoln and Jenn Kier of Madrid.

The best man was Michael Tines of Culbertson, brother of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were Wayne Bortner of North Platte, cousin of the bridegroom, Chad Softley of Kearney and Korey Lowe of Grant.

Ushers for the ceremony were Rob Dickenson of St. Louis, Mo., brother-in-law of the bride, and Blaine Bortner of North Platte, cousin of the bridegroom.

The flowergirl was Faith Dickenson of St. Louis, niece of the bride. The ringbearer was Jarin McIntyre, son of the couple.

The music was provided by Connie Cohen of Grant and Lisa Bortner of North Platte, cousin of the bridegroom.

Guestbook attendant was Chantel Regier of Lincoln.

The reception was at the Perkins County Fairground.

The host couple was Ben and Ginny Bortner of McCook.
