OBERLIN -- Dorothy M. Davis, 87, died Friday (Nov. 12, 2004) at Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.
She was born July 23, 1917, to Edgar James and Ellen Ruth (Harris) Keenan in Jennings. She was raised in Jennings and attended school there. She graduated from Jennings High School.
On July 28, 1975, she married Lester F. Davis in Salida, Colo. The couple made their home in Pueblo, Colo. She was a bookkeeper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester; and two brothers, Neil and Boyd Keenan.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Ferriter and wife, Debra of Longmont, Colo.; step-son, Richard Davis and wife, Brenda of Athens, Texas; two step-daughters, Carol Lombard and husband, Warren and Doris Kester, all of Pueblo, Colo.; one brother, Loyd "Bob" Keenan and wife, Lila of Oberlin; sister, Edna Smith of Lawrence, Kan.; sister-in-law, Imogene Keenan of Jennings; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services are today, 2:30 p.m., at Pauls Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Hasty officiating. Interment will be in Jennings Cemetery.
Visitation is today until service time.
Memorials can be given in her name to the Cedar Living Center.
