Neva E. Rhamy

COLBY, Kan. -- Neva Elaine Rhamy, 88 of Lanter Park in Colby, Kan., died Sunday (Oct. 31, 2004) at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kan.

She was born Dec. 21, 1915, to Don and Lela Kyte near McDonald.

She was a homemaker and retail sales clerk for Prideaux Liquor Store in Atwood for many years. She was a former resident of the McDonald and Atwood area.

Survivors include one son, Merrill "Steve" Stevens and wife, Mary of Burnet, Texas; sisters, Eileen Fikan and Mary Pellegrini, both of Atwood; half-sister, Carel Martin of CleElum, Wash.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services are Thursday, 2 p.m., at Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Atwood with the Rev. Don Martin of Colby officiating. Interment will be at the Atwood Fairview Cemetery. Graveside services will be provided by the Eastern Star Radiant Chapter No. 229 of Atwood.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Eastern Star Radiant Chapter No. 229 of Atwood.
