Robert 'Bobbie' Wurm

EATON, Colo. -- Robert Wayne "Bobbie" Wurm, 66, died Thursday (Sept. 30, 2004) at his home in Eaton, Colo.

He was born Sept. 6, 1938, to Ewald John and Iris Vera (Fourtner) Wurm in Oberlin. He attended school in Oberlin and graduated in 1957.

On July 15, 1963, he married Janice Scott in Oberlin.

On March 8, 1969, he married Peggy (VanPelt) Peters on Scott City, Kan. The couple lived in Kansas before moving to Colorado in 1978. They lived in Milliken, Colo., and then they moved to Eaton. He served in the U.S. Navy and then he drove truck for U.S. Communications.

He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; and his father.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Wurm of Eaton; daughter, Bobbie Jo Bond and husband, Kenny of LaSalle, Colo.; four sons, Johnny and wife, Roxanne Miller of Imperial, Rick and wife, Jill Peters of Mancos, Colo., Randy and wife, Lynda Peters of Oberlin and Allen and wife, Roxanne Wurm of LaSalle; his mother, Iris Wurm of Oberlin; two sisters, Beverly Jo and husband, Eugene Witt of Danbury and Jeanette and husband, Vernon Diedrick of Oberlin; two brothers, Dennis and wife, Pat Wurm of Oberlin and Steven and wife, Melissa Wurm of Dayton, Texas; 24 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services are Saturday at the Allnutt Funeral Service Chapel in Greeley, Colo.
