'Project Video' coming to McCook
The Nebraska National Guard and the American Red Cross are bringing Project Video Connect to the McCook area on Thursday, Sept. 16. Several agencies have teamed up to provide this service to men and women serving away from home and to their families in Nebraska. The project allows family and friends of military members to send a two-minute video email to their soldier, sailor and airmen.
Area residents with friends and family members in any branch of the Armed Services are invited to come to the McCook National Guard Armory, 404 West 7th Street, on Thursday, September 16, 2004 from 4-8 pm to record a two-minute video email. Citizens must bring the service member's email address with them.
Project Video Connect will also be in Lexington on Monday, September 13th from 4-8pm and Kearney on Tuesday, September 14th from 4-8 pm.
