The family of Bill and Mary (Hoatson) Schenck is hosting a card shower in honor of the couple's 50th anniversary Aug. 4. The couple married in 1954 at Sacred Heart Church in Sutherland. Their children are Monica Wacker, Karen Hiatt and Elaine Polly, all of McCook, Barbara Schenck of Fort Collins, Colo., and Joe Schenck of Papillion.
