Michael Thayer and Peggy Allison, both of McCook, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Margaret and Bill Danbom of Maywood and Michael Anthony of Longmont, Colo. The bride-to-be is employed with WalMart in McCook. The prospective bridegroom is a lead operator at the ethanol plant in Trenton. The couple is planning a July 24, 2004, ceremony at the historic Hover Home in Longmont.
