INDIANOLA -- Lori Ann Peters and James Robert Ruggles, both of McCook, were united in marriage Feb. 14, 2004, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola with the Rev. Nickolas Baker officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Pat Peters and Rick and Tracy Ruggles, all of McCook.

Grandparents of the couple are Floyd and Elaine Peters of Mesa, Ariz., the late P.V. and Verna Hays and Jerry and Florence Uerling of Indianola.

The bride wore a white chiffon A-line gown with a hand-beaded lace bodice and hem on the semi-cathedral length train. She carried a tear drop bouquet of red roses and stephanotis with pearl centers.

The matron of honor was Lisa Beideck of McCook, sister of the bride, and the maid of honor was Jodi Peters of Lincoln, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Ruggles of McCook, sister of the bridegroom, and Roni Thompson of Phoenix, Ariz. They each wore red satin A-line gowns.

The best man was Jeff Ruggles of McCook, brother of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were Joel Uerling of McCook, Josh Beideck of McCook, brother-in-law of the bride, and Wayne Bortner of North Platte.

The flower girls were Sara Peters of Albia, Iowa, Summer Peters of Jacksonville, Fla., both nieces of the bride, and Madison Mercer of Littleton, Colo., cousin of the bride. The ring bearers were Ariah Peters of Jacksonville, niece of the bride, and Meghann Mercer of Littleton, cousin of the bride. They each wore long white, satin dresses with red sashes.

Ushers were Brian Peteres of Albia, Kevin Peters of Jacksonville, both brothers of the bride, Bryan Hauxwell of McCook, cousin of the bridegroom, and Drew Davidson of Indianola, cousin of the bridegroom.

Acolyte and lector were Tom and Joellyn Davidson of Indianola, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom.

The soloists were Lisa Bortner of North Platte and Jennifer Mues of McCook. The organist was Chris Lyons of McCook.

Personal attendants were Laura Reynolds of McCook and Kelcy Ruggles of McCook, sister-in-law of the bridegroom.

Guestbook attendants were Tara Snyder of California and Julie Hilker of McCook. Program attendants were Robin Campbell and Becky Meixner of McCook. Rice bag attendants were Shaunee Tietze of Platsmouth, cousin of the bride, and Kelcia Kugler of McCook. Balloon attendants were Brooke and Laura Ruggles of McCook and Alysha and Aaron Puls of Lincoln, cousins of the bridegroom.

Lee Rutt of McCook made the floral arrangements.

The reception was at the Knights of Columbus Hall in McCook. The hosts and hostesses were Dr. Emanuel and Kathy Beyer of Benkelman, Paul and Jane Newberry of Indianola, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom, Dianne Tietze of Lincoln, cousin of the bride, and Lee Rutt of McCook.

Reception attendants were Cyndee Johnson of McCook, Joellyn Davidson of Indianola and Lisa Chester of Garden City, Kan., aunts of the bridegroom, and Pam Newberry of Indianola, cousin of the bridegroom.

Cake servers were Kathie Strayer of Omaha, aunt of the bride, DeAnn Ruggles of McCook, Lori Crocker of Indianola, aunts of the bridegroom, and Chris Puls of Lincoln, cousin of the bridegroom.

The gift table attendants were Cindy Van Dem Hamel of North Platte, cousin of the bridegroom and Ami Hauxwell of McCook.

The bride is a graduate of McCook High School in 1998 and attended McCook Community College. She is a dental assistant for Dr. Darin Seligman. The bridegroom is a graduate of Republican Valley High School in 1998. He is employed with the family farm and trucking business.

The couple made their home on a farm north of McCook.
