Loy Raymond Hodson, 57, died today (May 21, 2004) at Community Hospital of McCook .
He was born April 27, 1947, to Donald and Maxine (Leitner) Hodson in McCook. He grew up on a farm south of McCook and graduated from the Herndon High School in Herndon in 1966.
In 1967, he entered the Army and served during the Vietnam War.
On May 23, 1969, he married Judy White in McCook. He spent his life farming south of McCook.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Hodson of McCook; one son, James Michael Hodson and wife, Teresa of Blue Hill; one daughter, Lori Hansen and husband, Chris of Lexington; his parents, Donald Hodson and wife, Karen and Maxine Ross and husband, Porter, all of McCook; one brother, Scott Hodson and wife, Carol of Kearney; one sister, Connie Grove and husband, Don of Oxford; one step-brother, Jim and wife, Bonnie Ross of McCook; and two grandchildren.
Services are Monday, 2 p.m., at Herrman Memorial Chapel in McCook. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook.
Friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook Saturday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 1-6 p.m.
