DENVER, Colo. -- Jerome Irvin "Jerry" Lattimer, 71, of Imperial, died Thursday (April 8, 2004) at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Denver.
He was born June 7, 1932, to Rollie and Vina Lattimer in Imperial. He grew up in Imperial and attended school there.
On June 7, 1953, he married Glenda Lytle. He joined the Navy in 1952 and served four years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Frank Lattimer, Gene Lattimer and Donald "Pete" Lattimer.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda of Imperial; one daughter, Dorothy Hixson and husband, Russell of Imperial; one brother, Basil Lattimer of Cadwell, Idaho; brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Gwen Lytle of Arvada, Colo.; one sister, Maxine Gregg of Caldwell, Idaho; three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services are Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. (MST) at Imperial Bible Church with the Rev. John Engbrecht officiating. Interment will be at Chase Cemetery in rural Imperial.
A memorial has been established in his name to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
