DUNCAN, Okla. -- Twila Faye Black Kaus, 61, died Monday (March, 15, 2004) at Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Okla., after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 3, 1942, in Oberlin to Ralph and May (Duncan) Black.
On Jan. 17, 1959, she married James A. Kaus in Oberlin.
She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James on April 9, 2001; her parents; four brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Rodney and wife, Angela and Marty and wife, Tammy, all of Duncan; three daughters, Connie Frizzell of Duncan, Jolene Morgan of Comanche and Angie Blackford and husband, Joe of Lawton; two brothers, Marion and wife, Bernice Black of Yuma, Colo., and Darrell and wife, Gloria Black of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Athol Callan and husband, Bud of McCook, Gladys Brinkhoff of Wilsonville, Ore., and Barb Plamblad and husband, Vern of Wilsonville; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were March 18, at Bailes-Polk Funeral Home in Duncan with the Rev. Father Don Wolf officiating. Interment will be in Duncan City Cemetery.
