Neleigh and James Korth
HASTINGS -- Neleigh Nicole Smith of North Platte and James Richard Korth of Ogallala were united in marriage Dec. 27, 2003, at the Evangelical Free Church in Hastings with the Rev. Bruce Lester of the McCook Evangelical Church officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dave and Jan Smith of McCook and Mike and Jean Korth of Hastings.

Grandparents of the couple are Gene and Dorothy Smith of North Platte, Robert Baumann of North Platte and Jim and Kay Meisenbach of Minden.

The maids of honor were Marissa Smith and Gabrielle Smith, both of McCook and both sisters of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Kelly Petska of Lincoln, Sara Gossman of Longmont, Colo., Katie Feezell of Papillion and Marnie Atkins of Hastings.

The best men were Pat Korth of Kearney and Eric Korth of Hastings, both brothers of the bridegroom.

The bridegroomsmen were Pat Mailander of Hastings, Andrew Darr of Miami, Fla., Ryan Sullivan of Fairbury and John Stewart of Hastings.

The flower girl was Bryanna Pulling of Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Candlelighters for the ceremony were Breanna Bohlen and Janessa Bohlen, both of Hastings.

Ushers for the ceremony were Nick Baumann of Chadron, cousin of the bride, Jeff McChesney of Hastings, Brad Beyke of Sutton and Rick Washburn of Phoenix, Ariz.

The pianist was Christy Stevens of McCook. The vocalists were Dan and Christy Stevens of McCook and Korah Korth of Kearney, sister-in-law of the bridegroom.

The reception was at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Hastings. The host couples were Chris and Karen Nix of McCook and Brandon and Molly Moller of Lincoln. The guestbook attendant was Melissa Baumann of Morrill. Reception assistants were Joan Smith of Kingwood, Texas, aunt of the bride; Ruth Ulrich of North Platte, aunt of the bride, and Pam Shirk of Norton, Kan., aunt of the bridegroom.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of McCook High School, a 2000 graduate of Hastings College with a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a 2003 graduate of University of Nebraska at Lincoln College of Law with a juris degree. She is an attorney with Kelley, Scritsmier and Byrne of North Platte. The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of St. Cecilia High School, a 2000 graduate of Hastings College with a bachelor of arts degree in literature with an emphasis in writing and a 2003 graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law with a juris degree. He is an attorney with McGinley, O'Donnell, Reynolds and Edwards of Ogallala.

The couple is making their home in North Platte.
