Dr. Michael Chipps, president of Mid Plains Community College Area offers the opening comments for the TeleFuture Opportunities Conference in McCook this morning. The conference is sponsored by the McCook Economic Development Corporation, Southwest Nebraska Resource Conservation and Development and McCook Community College. The keynote speaker, Dr. Bing Chen, professor of computer and electronics engineering at the University of Nebraska - Omaha will discuss the "Silicone Prairie" tonight at 6:30 p.m., in True Hall Gymnasium at McCook Community College.
