ARAPAHOE -- LeRoy W. Von Loh, 62, died Friday (Jan. 16, 2004) at his home in Arapahoe.
He was born March 29, 1941, to LaVern and Theresa (Schutz) Von Loh in Frontier County. He attended Elwood High School and graduated in 1958.
On Nov. 16, 1962, he married Della Mae Riepe in Beaver City. He worked a variety of jobs including ten Bensel Soft Water, Riepe Gravel Pit, State of Nebraska Department of Roads, Furnas County Roads Department and caretaker of numerous cemeteries in Arapahoe and Holbrook.
He was preceded in death by his father, LaVern; infant daughter and son.
Survivors include his wife, Della Mae Von Loh of Arapahoe; son, Larry Von Loh of Arapahoe; mother, Theresa Egge of Waverly, Ohio; step mother, Roberta Von Loh of Elwood; two brothers, Gerald and wife, Lynn Von Loh of Hollywood, Fla., and Terry Von Loh of Waverly; and sister, Carol and husband, Don Wendland of Arapahoe.
Services are Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. Carl Lilienkamp officiating. Interment will be in the Arapahoe Cemetery in Arapahoe.
Visitation is today until 8 p.m., at Wenburg Funeral Home in Arapahoe and prior to services at the church.
