GRANT -- Linda Sue Brown, 57, died Tuesday (Dec. 9, 2003) at Perkins County Hospital in Grant.
She was born June 16, 1946, to Harry and Mattie (Redden) North, southwest of Imperial. She grew up in Imperial and graduated from Chase County High School in 1965.
On June 6, 1965, she married Robert Lee Brown in Champion. The couple made their home west of Champion. They lived in several Southwest Nebraska communities before making a permanent home in Palisade in 1978. She worked part time as a cook for the Pioneer Cafe in Palisade.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Palisade; two daughters, Constance Lawless and husband, Greg of Palisade and Veronica Gurciullo of North Platte; three brothers, Harry North and wife, Celia of Grant, Marion North and wife, Karen of McCook and Ron North of Central, Alaska; one sister, Donna Hein of Hanford, Calif.; six grandchildren.
Services are Friday, 1 p.m. (CST), at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell with John Long officiating.
Visitation is Thursday, 11:30-6 p.m., at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
