Service families can make e-mail videos for soldiers

LINCOLN -- The Nebraska National Guard Family Center and the American Red Cross are teaming up to provide holiday greetings to military men and women who are away from home. Project Video Connect allows families to send a two-minute video e-mail to service members.

Nebraskans with family members in any branch of the Armed Services are invited participate. Families must know their service member's e-mail address to take part in this program.

Sites include the McCook Armory, from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16.
