OMAHA -- Sean Michael Denton, 17, died Tuesday (Nov. 25, 2003) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha due to a motor vehicle accident.
He was born Dec. 20, 1985, to David G. and Michelle (Rief) Denton in Peoria, Ill. The family made their home in many communities in Nebraska and Illinois. He was a senior at Alma High School in Alma.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ray and Mary Casey.
Survivors include his mother, Michelle Nunnery and husband, Danny of St. Louis, Mo.; his father, David G. Denton and wife, Betty of Wilsonville; three brothers, David, Christopher and Brett of St. Louis; grandparents, William and Donna Rief of Orleans; step-grandparents, John and Christine Nunnery of Hornersville, Mo., and Mary and Roy Clabo of St. Louis.
Mass of Christian burial is Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Orleans with the Rev. Harlan Waskowiak officiating. Interment will be in St. Vincent's Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis.
Visitation is today, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home in Orleans.
A wake service is today, 7 p.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
