OBERLIN -- Alice M. Clark, 85, died Sunday (Oct. 26, 2003) at Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.
She was born Dec. 8, 1917, to Andrew M. and Elizabeth (Schiessler) Wurm in Traer. She was raised on a farm near Traer in Decatur County. She attended Traer Grade School and graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1935. After graduation she moved to Denver, Colo.
On Aug. 31, 1938, she married Don Odel. She lived in Casper, Wyo., and later moved to a ranch near Casper. Her husband died in April of 1957.
In April of 1960, she married Charles D. Clark. She lived in Alcova, Wyo. In 1996, she moved to Herndon, then later to Oberlin. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Herndon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don in 1957 and her second husband, Charles in 1995; and one brother, Lewis Wurm.
Survivors include one brother, Owen Wilson of Traer and one sister, Mabel Zimmerman of Oberlin.
Services will be Tuesday, 10 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin with the Revs. Nolan and Barbara Pierce officiating. Interment will be at the Oberlin Cemetery.
Visitation is today, 1-8 p.m., and Tuesday after 8 a.m., at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given in her name to Immanuel United Church of Christ in Herndon.
