Burns, Brunswick unite in summer ceremony

MenDi Burns and Chris Brunswick, both of McCook, were united in marriage Aug. 23, 2003, at First Baptist Church in McCook with Stan Hendershot officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dale and Christine Schriner of North Platte and Marion and Selma "Sam" Brunswick of McCook. Grandparents of the couple are Geraldine Gilbert of North Platte and Violet "Vicky" Martin of McCook.

The matron of honor was Trista Gayer of Council Bluffs, Iowa. The bridesmaid was Becky Britton of Salina, Kan. The junior bridesmaid was Alexa Hamilton of McCook, daughter of the bride.

The best man was Marion Brunswick of McCook, father of the bridegroom. The bridegroomsmen were Steve Dack and Mark Conley, both of McCook.

The flower girl was Kristen Burns of McCook, daughter of the bride.

Ushers were Larry Fritz of Indianola, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Rich Dack of McCook.

Sarah Reynolds of Danbury was the organist for the ceremony.

The reception was at Red Willow County Fairgrounds Community Building. The guestbook attendants were Kari Sayer of Kearney and Corina Fritz of Indianola, sister of the bridegroom.

Reception assistants include Mary Frandsen, Barb Miller, Frani Chambers, Stacy Chitwood, Tammy Holthaus, Dana Simms, Deb Reitz, Julie Brush and Shirley Dack, all of McCook.

The bride is a graduate of North Platte High School and a graduate of McCook Beauty Academy. She is employed at the beauty academy, Aphrodite Hair Design and the Willow Ridge Beauty Shop. The bridegroom is a graduate of McCook High School and is employed with Wal-Mart.

The couple is making their home in McCook.
