A dream vacation in Arkansas

With all the kids back in school, their first assignment probably is to complete -- the "What I Did During Summer Vacation" essay. Not to be left out (and inspired by a 13-hour one-way drive and five small children), I've compiled my own essay. This past summer, my entire family traveled to that top, highly-coveted vacation destination, Arkansas. To set the record straight, not all the stereotypes about the Razorback State are true. Yes, we saw a lot of rundown shanties set back in the trees, which were reminiscent of the Blair Witch Project; but we also saw a lot of beautiful scenery. Yes, we saw a lot of people who were missing more than a few teeth, but then so is my 3-year-old, and not for natural causes. And yes, Bill Clinton really hales from Arkansas, but few in the state still claim him.
