Nona M. Klein
BARTLEY -- Nona M. Klein, 93, of Bartley, formerly of Farnam, died Tuesday (Sept. 25, 2001) at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge.
She was born Oct. 27, 1907, at Gothenburg to Lewis S. and Lulu Alice (Anderson) Hayworth. She was raised in the Farnam area.
On Nov. 5, 1924, she married Louis John Klein at Oberlin, Kan. They farmed south of Farnam for 50 years. He preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1975. In 1989, she moved to Fort Morgan, Colo., where she attended the First Christian Church. She returned to Farnam in 1997, and had been living near Bartley with her son for the past nine months.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis; one daughter, Ruth; three brothers, Melvin, Harold and Lester Hayworth; and two sisters, Margaret Iloy and Gertrude Bringelson.
Survivors include three sons, Russel and wife, Dorthy of Lebanon, Ore., Ross and wife, Evonne of Greeley, Colo., and Raymond and wife, Sue of Bartley; one sister, Darlene Klooz and husband, Clark of Sargent; one step-brother, Jim Hayworth of Omaha; 13 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 2:30 p.m., at the Blase Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg. Interment will be at the Farnam Cemetery.
Visitation is today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given in her name to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
