Charles C. Taylor
ENDERS -- Charles Crandall Taylor, 85, died Saturday (Oct. 25, 2001) on his farm east of Enders.
He was born June 17, 1916, at Lincoln, to Charles J. and Grace (Crandall) Taylor. He was raised on the Taylor and Crandall Ranch north of Enders. He started farming at the age of 18 years on a different farm north of Enders.
On Feb. 26, 1937, he married Martha Ellen Groce at Imperial. In 1964, they moved to a farm east of Enders where he lived until his death.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; two sons, Charles and Gene; one daughter, Marjorie; and one grandson, Carl.
Survivors include two sons, Richard and wife, Dorothy of Wauneta, and Gary of Rushville; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Taylor of Denair, Calif.; one son-in-law, Bob Jackson of Denair; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m., at the Church of the Brethran at Enders with the Rev. Francis Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 2 to 6 p.m., at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta.
Memorials may be given in his name to the Church of the Brethren at Enders.
