Parmer 'Skeeter' Curtis Webb

TRENTON -- Parmer "Skeeter" Curtis Webb died Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2001) at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. He was 64 years old.

Skeeter was born Nov. 15, 1936, at Clovis, N.M., to Clementine (Messina) and Tom Edward Webb. He graduated from Fort Sumner, N.M. in 1954.

The majority of his life he was a truck driver for teamsters and locally.

Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter Kay Mockry; sister, Anne Burnham; and brother, Harvey Gibson.

Surviving him are his sons, Curt Webb and wife, Sharon of Houston, Texas, and Kim Webb of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter, Gina and husband, Danny Batten of Gilbert, Ariz.; three grandsons, Jamie Mockry and wife, Theresa of McCook, and Danny and Jacob Batten of Gilbert, Arizona; three granddaughters, Cyndi and Caitlyn Mockry of McCook, and Molly Batten of Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Anita and James Mockry of McCook; two brothers, Mauro Gibson and wife, Dorothy of Roswell, N. M., and Lee Roy Gibson and wife, Georgene of Red Bluff, Calif.; three sisters, Gerry Clark and Dessie Lewis of Trenton, and Marion Bailey of Santa Fe, N.M.; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Services will be Monday, at 10 a.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Johnny Walker officiating. Burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in his name.

The casket will be closed. Friends may sign the book at the funeral home during regular business hours all day Friday, and Saturday morning.
