Ida Mary Brown
OBERLIN -- Ida Mary Brown, 85, died Thursday (Nov. 29, 2001) at the Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin. She was born May 31, 1916, in rural Decatur County to Ora Leroy and Minnie Lois (Kettels) Montgomery. She attended Rural Liberty Grade School.
On March 22, 1935, she married Valti Mages at Oberlin. He preceded her in death.
In 1945, she married William Enyeart at Oberlin. He preceded her in death.
On Aug. 22, 1966, she married Leonard Brown at Burlington, Colo. He preceded her in death.
She was a seamstress.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the McCook Elks Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Valti, William and Leonard; one daughter, Carol Jean Mages; one step-son, Dennis Brown; two brothers, Clifford and Henry Montgomery; and one sister, Lila Faye Montgomery.
Survivors include one daughter, Maralyn Courange and husband, Irvan of Oberlin; one step-daughter, Harriet Jefferies and husband, Terry of Bayfield, Colo.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin with Sister Marilyn Wall officiating. Interment will follow at the Oberlin Cemetery.
Visitation is today until 8 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given in her name.
