David C. Dodson
OXFORD -- David C. Dodson, 43, died Saturday (Jan. 12, 2002) at his home east of Beaver City.
He was born Dec. 30, 1958, at Holdrege to Ralph and Betty (Payne) Dodson. He grew up on a farm north of Funk and attended high school in Axtell.
He was a truck driver for Woodring Trucking for three years and spent six years in Texas working for a roofing company. He returned to his grandfather's farm east of Beaver City in the early 1990s to farm.
He was a member of the Eagles Club in Holdrege.
Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Betty Dodson of Funk; three sisters, Cynthia and husband, Jay Peterson of Wilington, Ohio, Connie and husband, Ron Tripe of Ojai, Calif., and Jill and husband, John Mastera of New Canaan, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Friday, 10 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Hollinger with Pastor Linda Knipping officiating. Inurnment will be at Union Cemetery at rural Hollinger.
Memorial book signing will be Thursday, 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City.
