Neva I. Province

Neva I. Province, 66, died Tuesday (Jan. 22, 2002) at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln.

She was born July 11, 1935, to Virgil E. and Elsie Leota (Horn) Cochran in Oberlin. She graduated from Oberlin High School in 1953. On April 8, 1954, she married Bob L. Province in Oberlin. In 1962, they moved to McCook. She was employed by Dayco for many years. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Bob in 1973; one sister, Wilma Mott; and infant twin brothers, Lee and Rea Cochran.

Survivors include her son, Rick Province and wife, Paris of McCook; two daughters, Vickie and husband, Merlin Cook of McCook and Brenda and husband, Gerald Spargo of Ravenna; one brother, Leonard Cochran and wife, Dorothy of Oberlin; one sister, Leota and husband, David Jordan of McCook; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.

Visitation will be today until 7 p.m. ; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday until the time of service.

Services will be Friday 1:30 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Don Chester officiating. Burial will be in the Oberlin Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Kidney Foundation.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of arrangements.
