TRENTON -- Earl Brough, 70, died Saturday (Jan. 26, 2002) at El Dorado Manor.
He was born Feb. 10, 1931, at Laird, Colo., to Cleo and Drussil (Brown) Brough. He grew up in St. Francis and Denver, Colo., and graduated in Rexford in 1949.
On Dec. 27, 1950, he married Beverly Mentlick in Tully, Kan. The couple lived in various places, settling in Trenton in 1975. He was a farmer and a miner and worked in construction. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly; one son, Kevin; and one sister, Lorraine Gould.
Survivors include three sons, Steve Brough of Denver, Terrance Brough of Benton, Mo., and Timothy Brough of Tennessee.; two daughters, Sharalott and husband, Ray Thompson of Aurora, Colo., and Roxann and husband, John Frome of Denver; one sister, Margaret Orton of Rogers, Ark.; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Services were today at Pauls Funeral Home in Selden with Rev. James Hoover officiating. Interment was at Rexford Cemetery in Rexford.
Memorials may be left in his name at the funeral home.
