TRENTON -- The Rev. Peter D. Todd, 72, died Friday (Feb. 8,2002) at his home in Trenton.
He was born April 18, 1929 at Bristol, England to Miss Elsie Mae Cross. He was raised in Dunfermline, Scotland until the age of 15 when he joined the Royal Navy as a boy seaman. He served in the Royal Navy for 10 years. He came to America in 1954 to pursue an education in ministry. He spent 17 years pastoring churches in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, and another 17 years in a traveling ministry. He later moved to Nebraska where he served several churches in Southwest Nebraska.
He was preceded in death by his mother; stepfather; and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Marita Todd of Trenton; two daughters, Christina (Cricket) and husband, James Reagan of Wauneta and Valerie and husband, Gene Rogers of Trenton; son, Duncan and wife, Deby Todd of Milliken, Colo.; one sister, Eileen and husband, Richard Pagel of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, Robert and wife, Teresa Todd of Las Vegas, Nev.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday, 3:30 p.m., at the Church of God in Trenton. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
