SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Virginia Bright, 72, died Tuesday (Feb. 12, 2002) at her home in San Jose, Calif.
She was born July 2, 1929, to J.W. and Teresa Sullivan in McCook. She graduated from McCook High School and worked in McCook for several years.
In April 1951, she married Albert Bright and they moved to San Jose, Calif. where she worked for Hewlett Packard until she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Clifford.
Survivors include her husband, Albert of San Jose; one son, Bill and wife, Laura Bright of San Jose; two daughters, Cindy and husband, Eric Richards of Rosedale, Calif., and Pam and husband, Mike Azevedo of San Jose; three sisters, Bernice Sullivan of Lincoln, Eileen and husband, Jerry Cramer of Holdrege, Velma and husband, LaVern Schneider of McCook; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Queen of Apostles Church on Feb. 16.
