CAMBRIDGE -- Fred Henry Farr, 81, died Friday (Feb. 22, 2002) at the Cambridge Manor in Cambridge.
He was born Oct. 20, 1020 to Fred and Frances Clara (Schieber) Farr in Frontier County where he attended country school. He worked on the family farm north of Cambridge.
On May 23, 1965, he married Ruth Fisher in Bertrand. The couple moved into Cambridge in 1974.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Ruth in 1993.
Survivors include his step-daughter, Kathy and husband, Kim Miller of Cambridge; step-son Doug Kerr of Bertrand; one brother, Albert and wife, Doris Farr of Cambridge; two sisters-in-law, Norma and husband, Lyle Steele of Arapahoe, and Ruby Hasty of Overton; one brother-in-law, Loren and wife, Geri Fisher of Edison; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Cambridge with Pastor Art Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Holbrook Cemetery at Holbrook.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Trinity United Methodist Church or the Cambridge Manor.
