OBERLIN -- Rex L. Bolliger, 65, died Wednesday (March 19, 2002) in Wichita, Kan.
He was born March 25, 1936, to Walter and Leona (Cuthbertson) Bolliger in Dellvelle, Kan. He was raised in the Norcatur area and in 1954, he graduated from Norcatur High School.
He served in the U. S. Air Force.
On June 27, 1983, he married Shelly Huffaker in Norcatur. He has resided in Seattle, Wash., and Oberlin. He was a sandblaster for a monument company.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Shelly.
Survivors include two sons, Derrick Bolliger of Oberlin, and Jason Huffaker of Oberlin; one step-daughter, Angela and husband, John Morris of Federal Way, Wash.; and one sister, Linda and husband, Jackie Broyles of Haysville, Kan.
Services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at the Norcatur Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Keller officiating. Inurnment will be at the Norcatur Cemetery.
People are invited to sign the memorial book Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Saturday, 12 p.m., at the church.
Memorials may be left in his name at Norcatur Citizen's Alliance or Eldon Auker Park.
