OBERLIN -- Pearl G. Cameron, 84, died Saturday (March 23, 2002) at Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.

She was born Feb. 23, 1918, to Thomas and Rena (Taylor) McMann in Rexford. She was raised in Dresden and graduated from Dresden High School in 1936.

On May 13, 1939, she married Frank Cameron in Oberlin. The couple made their home in Decatur County. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Oberlin United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Blanch Morrissette; and an infant great-grandson.

Survivors include one son, Don and wife, Susan Cameron of Hutchinson, Kan.; two daughters, Dorene and husband, Richard Hager of Dodge City, Kan. and Karol and husband, Doyle Styles of Oberlin; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Oberlin with the Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Interment will be at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is today until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Memorials may be given in her name to the American Cancer Society, Decatur County Hospital or Cedar Living Center in Oberlin.
