CAMBRIDGE -- Phyllis E. Niemeier, 75, died Thursday (March 21, 2002) at the Good Samaritan Center in Arapahoe.]
She was born on Aug. 20, 1926, to Arthur Mattoon and Jessie Eleanor (Watson) Hyde at Fowler, Colo. She grew up in the Edison area and attended school in Edison.
On Aug. 10, 1958, she married Robert "Bob" Niemeier and the couple made their home in Cambridge. She was employed at Williams Brothers, Skogmo and Marlene Togs as a sales clerk and later worked for Cambridge Public Schools as a cook for 14 years.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and several church circles.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Cambridge; two daughters, Marlene and husband, Ron Holtz of Pataskla, Ohio and Kelly and husband, Joseph of Hastings; two sisters, Eleanor Hays of Oxford and Dorothy Hays of Holdredge; one sister-in-law, Mathilde Forman of Omaha; one brother-in-law, Edward Niemeier of Talmago; and five grandchildren.
Services are Monday, 10:30 a.m., at the Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Art Phillips officiating. Interment is at the Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge.
Memorials may be left in her name.
