SEWARD -- Loyd Franklin Reichert, 91, died Wednesday (April 3, 2002) at the Sundermann Home in Seward.
He was born Sept. 9, 1910, to Christian and Margaretha (Bruning) Reichert in Bruning. He graduated from Bruning High School in 1928.
On Feb. 22, 1939, he married Kathryn Lichti on the family farm near Bruning. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathryn; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Chris Lichti; and son-in-law, Dan Bank.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Bank of Seward and Maxine and husband, Jim Dusatko of McCook; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 2:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bruning with Rev. Liddy Howard officiating. Interment will be at Bruning Public Cemetery in Bruning.
Visitation is at 12:30 p.m., at the church until service time.
