Carla Ann Solomon, 43, died Wednesday (April 10, 2002) at her home in McCook.
She was born June 10, 1958, to Richard and Twyla (Hall) McClung in Anadarko, Okla. She grew up in Nevada and Idaho before graduating from St. Anthony High School at St. Anthony, Idaho in 1976. She graduated from Idaho State University and began teaching elementary education in Culbertson.
On Dec. 1, 1982, she married Rex Solomon in Maui, Hawaii. They have spent their married lives at Culbertson and McCook. She was a member of Gamma Phi Betta Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Rex Solomon; one son, Barett Solomon; one daughter, Cheney Solomon, all of McCook; her mother, Twyla McClung of Culbertson; and one brother, Richard and wife, Debra McClung of Omaha.
Memorial services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at the First Congregational Church in McCook. Inurnment will be in the Culbertson Cemetery at Culbertson.
Memorials may be given in her name and friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook which is in charge of arrangements.
