BEAVER CITY -- Robert "Bob" Theobald, 50, died Thursday (May 16, 2002) at his home in Bradenton, Fla.
He was born April 10, 1952, to Robert and Florine (Harper) Theobald at Holdrege. He graduated from Beaver City High School in 1970. He graduated from McCook Junior College and transferred to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where he graduated in 1974. He worked at his parents store "Kelley's Supermarket" in Beaver City.
In 1978, he married Terri Morris. They moved to Colorado where he worked in the grocery business, and then moved to Garden City, Kan. where he also worked in the grocery business. He moved to Bradenton in 2000 to be with his sister. He worked for Circle K Convenience store while in Bradenton.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Beaver City. He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents.
Survivors include one son, Dustin Theobald of Basalt, Colo.; one daughter, Holly Anne Theobald of Topeka, Kan.; his mother, Florine Theobald of Beaver City; and two sisters, Patty and husband, Ben stump of Dannebrog, Neb. and Barb Johnson of Bradenton, Fla.
Funeral services will be Friday, 10:30 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Beaver City with the Rev. Darin Bentzinger and Keith Theobald officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City.
Memorials may be given in his name.
