ATWOOD -- Nyla J. (Brown) Beall, 51, died Friday (July 12, 2002) at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Feb. 23, 1951, to Joseph T. and Wilma L. (Wederski) Brown at Atwood.
On Aug. 17, 1970, she married Herman L. Beall at Atwood. She worked as a certified nurse's aide and medication aide. She was also an emergency medical technician and a homemaker.
She was a member of the former First Church of the Nazarene of Atwood.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wenzel and Joseph Brown.
Survivors include her husband, Herman of Atwood; two sons, Eddie Beall and wife, Cheryl of Wakeeney, Kan. and Lester Beall and wife, Tina of Kirk, Colo.; one daughter, Nyla and husband, John Cole of Hays, Kan.; her father, Joseph Brown and step-mother, Bernadine of Atwood; her mother, Wilma Anthony of Colby, Kan.; brother, Donald Brown of Walnut Shade, Mo.; half-brother, Scott Brown of Dodge City, Kan.; two sisters, Wilma Jean and husband, Marty Carman of Colby and Judy Kirby Higgins of Ft. Morgan, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Brantley Funeral Chapel in Atwood with the Rev. Gene Gee officiating. Interment will be in the Atwood Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation is today until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Atwood Good Samaritan Center or to her grandchildren's educational trust fund.
