FORT MORGAN, Colo. -- Goldie Jane Waterman, 77, died Sunday (July 28, 2002) at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan, Colo.
She was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Yuma County, Colo., to Leslie and Rosa (Kibel) Kier.
On Nov. 17, 1941, she married Earl Kenneth Waterman in Oberlin. The couple moved to Colorado in 1954 and have lived in the Fort Morgan area since 1963.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; one son, Dennis; three sisters, Mary Andrews, Bertha McDonald and Nellie Riley; six brothers, Charles, Cecil, Orie, Oscar, Earl and Orval; and one granddaughter.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Blackstun of Log Lane Village, Colo., and Shirley Thim of Fort Morgan; one son, Terry Waterman of Fort Morgan; two sisters, Ada Beechly of Wray, Colo., and Pearl Watts of Fort Morgan; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, 10 a.m., at the Sanctuary, 330 State St., Fort Morgan. Interment will be at the Palisade Cemetery at 3 p.m. CDT.
Visitation will be Thursday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan.
