Charlotte Nadine Monroe, 77, died Monday (Sept. 2, 2002) at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.
She was born Nov. 7, 1924, at Holyoke, Colo., to Willis L. and Emma Susan (Haller) Kramer. She graduated from Holyoke High School in 1943.
In 1946, she engaged in a relationship with Louie Parrett from Bartelsville, Okla., and to this relationship was born one daughter, Roxanne K. Dinsmore. She was Pro-Life as early as 1947.
In 1979, she married Raymond Monroe in Boulder, Colo. She was employed as a receptionist for a medical clinic and hair stylist for many years.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; three brothers, William, George and Lyle Kramer in infancy; and brothers-in-law, Warren Perry and Otto Detmer.
Survivors include her daughter Roxanne and husband, Harvey Dinsmore, of McCook; two sisters; Hazel Perry of Boulder, Colo. and Edith Detmer of Blackfoot, Idaho; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, 11 a.m. (MT), at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Amherst, Colo., with the Rev. Richard Pierson officiating. Inurnment will be at the Holyoke Cemetery.
