SELDEN -- Leslie Leroy Paulson, 77, died Saturday (Sept. 7, 2002) at the Sheridan County Hospital in Hoxie, Kan.
He was born Jan. 30, 1925, to Arvig and Mary (Jones) Paulson in Yuma, Kan. He graduated from Woodston High School in Woodston, Kan.
He served in the U.S. Army.
On Nov. 21, 1948, he married Melvia Deane Mischler in Iola, Kan. He worked as a railroad depot agent.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Lars Arvig Paulson; and one sister, Pearl Musgrove.
Survivors include his wife, Melvia of Selden; one son, John Paulson of Lawrence, Kan.; two daughters, Karla and husband, Art Wessel and Leslie Lavinia Paulson all of Selden; two brothers, Clifford Paulson of Goodland, Kan. and John Paulson and wife, Lorriane of Wichita Falls, Texas; one sister-in-law, Viola Paulson of Woodston, Kan.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Selden with the Rev. Gene Dollar officiating. Interment will be in the Survery Cemetery in rural Woodston at 3:30 p.m.
Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Selden Branch of the Sheridan County EMS.
