BRIGHTON, Colo. -- Ronald Anthony Rugg, 40, died Wednesday (Sept. 18, 2002) near Brighton, Colo. He was a former resident of Indianola.
He was born Feb. 10, 1962, to Robert Peter and Shirley Joan (Sughroue) Rugg. He graduated from Republican Valley High School in 1980 and attended McCook Community College.
He was living in Brighton, Colo., at the time of his death.
Preceding him in death were his step-father, Marvin Miner.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Miner, of Cambridge; father, Robert Rugg of Northglenn, Colo.; three brothers, Jameson Rugg and wife, Tonya, of McCook, Brian Rugg of Lincoln and Jeff Miner of New York, N.Y.; one sister, Gloria and husband, Gregg McCormick of Boston, Mass.; and eleven nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, 10 a.m., at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola with the Rev. Nick Baker officiating. Burial will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery.
Rosary will be today, 7:30 p.m., at Carpenter Funeral Home in Indianola.
Memorials may be given in his name.
