On June 7, 1953, she married Dennis Einspahr at St. Paul's Lutheran Church south of Wauneta. They lived in Wauneta for 11 years, before moving to a farm. She worked in the insurance office of A.D. McCallum and Fred Grimm, and later at the Wauneta Roller Mills. She became the manager of the Cornhusker Mutual Life Association of Imperial in the early 1980's, where she was working at the time of her death. Following the death of her husband, in 1998, she moved to Wauneta.
She became a member of the Wauneta Methodist Church in 1942. She then became a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in 1953. She was also a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
She was preceded in death by her father; and her husband, Dennis.
Survivors include her two sons, Tim Einspahr and wife, Carolyn of Lincoln and David Einspahr of Wauneta; her mother, Alice Hopkins of Palisade; three sisters, Yvonne Wilson of Denver, Colo., Eleanor and husband, Jerome Muths of Palisade and Pat McLeod of Seattle, Wash.; one sister-in-law, Esther Einspahr of Wauneta; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack Neverve and wife, Carol of Ogallala, Ron Hill and wife, Joan of Longmont, Colo. and Dick Schriver and wife, Kathy of Lakewood, Colo.; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of rural Wauneta with the Rev. Keith Wellman officiating. Interment will follow St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
