She was born Feb. 28, 1904, at McCook, to John and Anna Margaret (Frick) Wagner. She attended school in McCook. She was employed for more than 35 years as a sales clerk for DeGroff's Department Store, retiring in 1970. She was a resident of McCook for 81 years and had been residing in Hastings for the past 17 years.
She was a member of Westside Congregational Church and also taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir.
Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Anna Wagner; two brothers, John Wagner, Sr. and Victor Wagner; and four sisters, Anna Frank, Elizabeth Wagner, Lydia Roth and Racheal Sitzman.
Survivors include a niece, Dr. Vickie A. Lambert of Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan; and two nephews, John Wagner, Jr. of St. Louis, Mo. and Jim Wagner of Sidney.
Services will be Friday, 1:30 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel with the Rev. Rod Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook.
Visitation will be Thursday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Friday until time of service.
Memorials may be given in her name.
