ONAWA, Iowa -- Naomi Elizabeth King, 7, died Sunday (Oct. 20, 2002) at her home in Onawa, Iowa.
She was born Jan. 4, 1995, in Onawa, to David and Cindy (Romine) King. She attended Lark Elementary School in Onawa and was in the 2nd grade. She wanted to be a zookeeper when she grew up and take care of the cats.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Elmer and Ruth Sheffer, Charley and Dorothy Romine, Robert Carr and Charles and Keren King.
Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Rachel and Hannah; one brother, Josh; grandparents, Robert and Alma Romine of Palisade and Delbert and Dorthy King of Hancock, Iowa; great-grandmother, Dorothy Carr of Chino, Calif.; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at First Christian Church in Onawa with the Rev. Mike Cahill and the Rev. David Montecuollo officiating. Burial will be in the Onawa Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
