COZAD -- Harry Propp, 87, died Friday (Nov. 29, 2002) at Southview Manor in Cozad.
He was born May 25, 1915, at McCook, to Henry and Anna Marie (Schrieber) Propp. He graduated from Culbertson High School in 1934.
On Feb. 24, 1941, he married Sylvia Lee Graybeal at McCook. They made the McCook community their home. He was a truck driver for the McCook Packing Plant for more than 15 years. He was also associated with WEW Cattle Company for many years.
He was a member of the McCook Eagles Club.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry and Anna Propp; his wife, Sylvia Propp in 1978; six brothers, Hank, Jake, Vic, Ben, Harold and Sander Propp; and two sisters, Molly Waterman and Lydia Harris.
Survivors include his son, Robert B. Propp and wife, Mary, of McCook; two daughters, Barbara and husband, Roger Musgrave, of McCook and Anna and husband, Larry Allison, of Lincoln; brother, Philip Propp of Corvallis, Ore.; sister, Esther Nowka of Culbertson; special friend of 24 years, Wilma Steier of McCook; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, 1 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel in McCook with the Rev. Carl E. Pullmann officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is today until 8 p.m.
