HAYES CENTER -- Allen L. Bodeman, 63, died Sunday (Dec. 8, 2002) at the Blue Valley Lutheran Care Home in Hebron.
He was born Sept.1, 1939, at Palisade, to Chester J. and Hannah Marie (Banister) Bodeman. He graduated from Hayes Center High School in 1956. He attended Hastings College and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1960. He also attended the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis.
He was appointed by the governor of the State of North Dakota as a licensed health inspector for several years. He was a member of the Lincoln United Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Chester and Hannah Bodeman.
Survivors include his two step-daughters, Mary Jo and Cindy; two brothers, Curtis Bodeman and wife, Wanda, of Hayes Center and LeRoy Bodeman and wife, Helen, of Tucson, Ariz.; and two step-grandsons.
Services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m., at the Union Congregational Church in Hayes Center with the Rev. Faye Ann Blaylock and Morris Hartman officiating. Burial will be at the Hayes Center Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in his name to the Union Congregational Church in Hayes Center.
