Janice Claudine Berry

Oberlin -- Janice Claudine Berry, 66, died Sunday (Dec. 15, 2002) at Community Hospital of McCook.

She was born June 10, 1936, to Michael and Myrtle (Henningson) Schiessler at Herndon. She grew up around Herndon and attended the Oberlin schools.

On Dec. 11, 1953, she married Marlin Berry in Oberlin and lived in the Oberlin and McCook areas all her life.

She was preceded in death by her father; and husband, Marlin on Aug. 5, 2000.

Survivors include three sons, John Berry and wife, Lorie of McCook, Mike Berry and wife, Chandra of North Platte and Bill Berry and wife, Sarah of McCook; two daughters, Donna Masoner of Oberlin and Connie Berry of McCook; her mother, Myrtle of Oberlin; two sisters, Frances Schiessler of Oberlin and Doris Fedro of Waco, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., at the Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook with the Rev. Gary Brethour officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery near Danbury.

Visitation will be today until 8 p.m.

Memorials are being accepted in her name.
