CAMBRIDGE -- Jeanette Elizabeth Arthaud, 97, died Thursday (Dec. 19, 2002) at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook.
She was born Dec. 18, 1905, to Henry and Mary (Hougnon) Arthaud. She graduated from Cambridge High School and received her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She taught high school English in Table Rock, Odell, Dunning and Tobias, as well as other Nebraska high schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph, Cyril and Vincent Arthaud; and two sisters, Mary and Barbara Arthaud.
Survivors include two brothers, Paul Arthaud of Cambridge and Ray Arthaud and wife, Joyce of White Bear Lake, Minn.; three sisters, Agnes Arthaud of Lincoln, Mary Colling of McCook and Margaret and husband, Robert Graff of Beatrice.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, 2:30 p.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cambridge with the Rev. Paul Colling officiating. Interment will be in the Cambridge Cemetery at Cambridge.
Rosary will be recited Sunday, 6:30 p.m., at the church.
Memorials may be given in her name.
