Anna M. Cottingham, 92, died Friday (Dec. 27, 2002) at Community Hospital of McCook.
She was born May 21, 1910, to Henry and Katherine (Gettman) Lebsack at McCook. She grew up in McCook and attended McCook High School.
On Aug. 30, 1931, she married Carl E. Cottingham at McCook. They spent their lives in McCook.
She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church for more than 70 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; one brother, Arthur Lebsack; and six sisters, Katie Herman, Marie Gillen, Lottie Swanson, Edith Snyder and infants, Charlotte and Margaret Lebsack.
Survivors include two daughters, Norma Jean and husband, Dr. Ted Awtry of Haughton, La., and Carol Ann and husband, Kelsey Smith of Centennial, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2 p.m., at the Herrmann Memorial Chapel in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeffery Thurman officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook.
Memorials may be given in her name and friends may call at the funeral home.
