FARNAM -- Harold Bick, 75, died Tuesday (Feb. 11, 2003) at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
He was born Aug. 29, 1927, to Arthur Henry and Edna Marie (Gaibler) Bick in Farnam. He graduated from Farnam High School in 1945.
He served in the Army in Korea from 1951 to 1953.
On Feb. 10, 1952, he married Ardyce Irene Smith in Farnam. He was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church, the Farm Bureau, Farnam Senior Center, American Legion Post No. 288 of Farnam and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8146 of Farnam and he was on the United Methodist Church board in Farnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Esther.
Survivors include his wife, Ardyce of Farnam; four daughters, Marianne and husband, Gil Kindsfater of Kearney, Diane and husband, Dallas Cobb of McCook, Susan and husband, Cory Dekker of Centennial, Colo., and Karla and husband, John Lemon of Kearney; one sister, Delphine and husband, Keith Anthony of Lexington; and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at the United Methodist Church in Farnam with the Revs. Dennis "Buck" Linton-Hendricks and Don Johnston officiating. Interment will be in the Farnam Cemetery with military rites.
Visitation is today until 9 p.m. at Blase Memorial Chapel.
Memorials may go to the Farnam Senior Center, the United Methodist Church in Farnam or to the donor's choice.
